Trim silence?

Post by Federation_Jackson »

Was this option removed from Mixcraft 6 for some reason?

I can no longer select it by right-clicking and ctr + I does nothing.

Huh?

Interesting. I think you may have found a bug. I'll report it.

The right-click menu has been shortened. However, Trim Silence is still found in the Sound menu, just like in MC5. Ctrl-I is listed as the shortcut. But they do nothing.

While we're on the topic of bugs, this could probably use it's own topic, but I don't feel like making one right now.

There's a certain sound file in my sound library that whenever I try to preview with Mixcraft 6, freezes the application and consumes 99% CPU usage, rendering my computer a giant brick until I reset it.

Yeah...this could probably use a topic of it's own...

Hi,

What's the name of that sound clip? What version and build of Mixcraft are you using right now?

The developer fixed the Trim Silence bug (among others) for b185, which is now available as installer here or as a patch here.
