Attempting to connect Sony ps-lx300usb with direct usb to to Windows 7 laptop. Doesn't seem to recognise the connection. Any ideas?
Using the Level Wizard I can see the sound being recognised but not loudly enough for the Wizard or SIA to use for recording. I was using the default software that came with the turntable but it did not recognise the tracks correctly nor allow me to easily manipulate. word on the web is that SIA is the best but no sense purchasing if i can't get it to hear the turntable.

Hi,
Make sure that you've got the correct USB device selected in the level wizard's Soundcard setting. Try recording something and see how it sounds.
