When mixing I usually freeze the tracks I'm not working on at the time. I noticed that with one track I have a loop about a bar long called Rhodes 3 , when it's not frozen it sounds fine, but when I freeze the track I get some distortion, can't figure out why? My other question is when I send out the tracks to be mastered should I unfreeze them first or leave them frozen?
