Sounds good to me, like the tone of your guitar, very natural and bluesy sounding. The only thing I could say is that there is a hiss in the background that you could get rid of with some master EQ.

Would lowering the high freqs get rid of the hiss? The only effect I added was a bit of reverb(small room I think),otherwise it's just plain jane.........Oh,by the way checked out your site, damn cool.I'm a big hard rock/metal fan.Saw Sabbath/Megadeth/Down a few weeks ago.Good show..........Your beatcraft tutorials are helping me along.Still new to all this(computers, recording, guitar),I'm just learning as I go.Thank you for your help.Keep rockin,G.

Thanks G, I appreciate the kind words :-)

I think your input signal is too low when you record the guitar, which creates hiss. It comes from the computer or mixer or whatever you use, trying to make up for the low sinal.

However, since it's already recorded, you can use something like NyquistEQ to isolate the exact hiss frequency and remove it.

It's here http://www.demondigital.com/backstage/plugs.php about 3/4 of the way down the page under a link called "magnus". It's free and an excellent parametric equalizer.

Eric,Thanks for the EQ link and info. That is a cool tool. Was able to drastically reduce the hiss pretty easily using headphones.Gonna use this to clean up all recordings...........If Acoustica is paying you, they need to give you a big raise for all the useful info you provide on your sites and these forums.A thousand thank you's,G. 8)
