Can I find the Beacraft's drums in Mixcraft?

Post by evrardo »

Hi!

Do you know where I can find the Beacraft's drums in Mixcraft?
I find some in the library, but the sound is too different from the Beatcraft's sound.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Beatcraft's drum sounds are stored inside its program files folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Acoustica Beatcraft\library\

Thanks for your quick answer.
But lot of Beatcraft's Sound are not in this library. For example the "Smart Loop Percussions Sets" with cabasa, guiro, claves, cowbell.

I am ready to buy Mixcraft, but I will not without theses drums sound.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Did you look in the Smart Loops sub folder? On my computer, those files are here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Acoustica Beatcraft\library\Included Sounds\Smart Loops\Percussion

Hi Greg,
Yes, thanks, there are really hidden in the bottom of the files! :D

So, when I try to import them, Mixcraft says that I can't import them, because they are already in the data base.
Or they are not! The ones which are in the Mixcraft library are loops, and I need just the sound of the instruments!

Is it possible to import a sequence or a pattern from Beatcraft, it's would be easier!

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Oh, you're doing this through Mixcraft library, huh? Make sure you're selecting the correct sound file. If I search for "cowbell," I come up with multiple entries, for example.

Of course, you can save your beats in MP3, WMA, WAV or OGG format, and then load them into Mixcraft. In Beatcraft, click on the File menu and select either "Render Pattern" or "Render Sequence," depending on whether you want to save the current pattern or a whole sequence of patterns. Note where you save the audio file so you can find it later. In Mixcraft, click on the Add Sounds button (in the tool bar), and then browse to the location where you saved your beats.
