Cannot launch Superior Drummer 2.2 Help Please

Post by wolverball »

Hi Folks, I hope someone can give me a hand here as I'm at my wits end trying to sort this out. I installed superior drummer 2.2 on my original computer about three months which operated on windows xp. Last week I purchased a new computer with windows 8 as the OS and have installed both SD 2.2 plus Metal foundry. The thing is it won't work. I keep getting a message that "you need to set the path where you installed the sounds before you use them". Can anyone give me some help here, I've not encountered this before :(

Hi,

Try updating to the latest version of Superior Drummer and see if that helps.

And if that doesn't help, what happens if you click OK? There are some path names below that popup with red crosses in front, and buttons at the end, one of which says "set".
It probably isn't that easy, but still i'd better ask.
We the undersigned being of sound mind hereby do declare:
'We henceforth pledge ourselves unto the power of the Upper Air'
Doesn't that sound simply super
Zeppelin visions of the future
Of course we all know very well it wouldn't work but what the hell
