feature request: Onboard Ruler

Post by youaregreat »

It might be nice to have a little ruler that you can move around on the tracks. Maybe its a clear or translucent ruler that you can place it on top of a clip, you can make a variety of colorful highlights at different positions on the ruler, and you can adjust the ruler length and loop/multiply it. I use blank clips that I adjust the length of some times to make it easier to see past all the vertical lines, just speeds things up, frees you from counting steps. Maybe even a simple change in the color of every 1/4 step on the existing back drop would help(but of course you need an empty row nearby to see it(unless the clips are translucent, ) plus the ruler could be useful for long pauses where effect tails need to line up. Green shaded tracks could be un-armed, Grey cold be empty, clips are translucent white (why not make it users preference(i'm pretty sure you guys have already thought of this)) but still the ruler would be useful.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion!

You know how to switch between time and beats in Mixcraft's timeline, right? Just right-click.
