When I use the level wizard and then close the window, there must be some sort of memory because when I hit record, about 1 second of the previously monitored section plays and shows up on the recording. I can cut it out, but I was wondering if there is something that can keep it from happening.

They're current. It's probably another Windows 8.1 conflict. Every time I get an update from Windows my programs get screwy.
