Here's how I did it.
1. I created a drum track using the loops.
2. I laid a guide vocal with an acoustic guitar through my laptop speakers.
3. I laid the bass track.
4. Laid the guitar tracks. I used a Fender Telacoustic plugged into the 1/8 inch jack on my laptop.
5. I sat in my car with a cheap headset mic and did the lead vocal because I had to sing it loud as it was at the limit of my vocal range. I didn't want to piss off the neighbors with my caterwauling .
6. Used virtual brass instrument to make a melodic sounding car horn.
7. I added effects mostly presets and some of them I tweaked. I really had to tweak the virtual amp presets.
8. I mixed and mastered to the best of my ability. I used the mastering presets and tweaked them a bit.
9. I uploaded it to Soundcloud along with a picture of a hot girl in a thong washing a car.
