Apphangb1

Post by th3rdpwr »

Been using your program for years, but last hard drive crashed & burned; previous computer was Windows XP. Purchased a refurbished unit with Windows 7, reloaded your software but it continues to freeze, both, when loading sound files and recording. The problem flagged is apphangb1. Spin It Again is the only software that is giving me this problem. I've already changed the compatibility settings, as well as the buffer sizes, trying both 8/16384 and 16/32768. The former works a little better but software still freezes. I've reloaded the program twice, with no effect. Any ideas?

Hi,

What sample rate do you have selected in Spin It Again's audio settings? You might try a sample rate of 44100 Hz or 48000 Hz.

Tried changing sample rate, no change. Don't know what to do at this point.

Hi,

The next time this happens, quit Spin It Again and send us your spinagain-log.txt file, which is located in this folder:

%appdata%\Acoustica\Spin It Again\

You can also find it by clicking on the Windows Start menu, selecting All Programs, then Acoustica Spin It Again and finally Logs.

Please submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file.

I think that experience with Apphang b1 is Malware.
It was a while back since I had apphangb1 problems
When you download certain programs they plant advertising malware on you.

Give Malwarebytes free a go and you may get a lot of PuP malware advert thingy's,which ant-virus programs seem to miss. Then clear them.
This may solve the annoying Apphang b1 problem.

All the best
John
