Pianissimo not loading sample data in Mixcraft 7

Post by dan_halen »

I was working on a project using Pianissimo in Mixcraft 7, the regular version, and the next time I opened it up, it would not work and gave me an error message. I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and still nothing. It works as a standalone program, but not within Mixcraft 7. Please help!

Hi,

Did you by any chance copy the pianissimo.dll file to a new location?

I thought I copied it to where my other plugins are and I tried scanning too, but nothing worked.

Hi,

That's likely the problem, then: pianissimo.dll can't find its pianissimo.dat file. Put the pianissimo.dll file back where you got it, or install Pianissimo (or Mixcraft Pro Studio) again.

Reinstalled it again and this time MC7 crashes altogether. I can't figure out what the problem is.

Hi,

Quit Mixcraft if it's running and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file, which is located in this folder:

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft

Another way to find it is to click on the Windows Start Menu, select All Programs, then Acoustica Mixcraft 7 and finally Logs. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.
