frozen tracks distorted b292
for some reason frozen guitar & some drum tracks are really distorted & even garbled w/ this latest build.
I'm running @ 44100/256 the same as usual.

Hi,
If you unfreeze them, do they sound normal? What plugins are being used on those tracks?

yeah unfrozen they sound normal.
a couple have Shred amp,Classic Delay,Classic Reverb & Ignite TPA-1 power amp sim
one has just Classic EQ & Delay
one has Shred amp,Classic Delay,& Classic Reverb
one is just D.I. from my amp w/ Classic Delay
same stuff I've been using for a long time, nothing new.

I also noticed this-
when selection a portion of a song to "Mix Down to",in this case mp3,a couple of guitar tracks sound a bit muffled like someone turned on a flat EQ and it'll stay that way even after indoing the highlighted selected portion.
restart Mixcraft & it's back to normal. .

I've tried both 44100 & 48000 @ 256 & 512. same thing.
it seems to have started getting weird sometime after downloading Mixcraft 7.5 but especially with b292.

Re: frozen tracks distorted b292
Found out I think what was causing my issues with cracking and distorting was the fact that I added an overall master effect on the guitar tracks then recorded drum tracks and on playback I had the jumping and cracking . So I removed a couple guitar tracks and removed drum effects and the problem went away.
Still learning.

Hi,
That's weird. Send in your log file and we'll check it out. Reproduce the problem, then quit Mixcraft immediately and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file, which is located in this folder:
%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft
Another way to find it is to click on the Windows Start Menu, select All Programs, then Acoustica Mixcraft 7 and finally Logs. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.

Re: frozen tracks distorted b292
too late. I reinstalled b292 and it's quit doing it.
it must have been a bad install the first time.
