Hi
How do I add fx to a single clip? I've cut alot of vocals and want a robotic sound on only one clip...not the whole track.
I've looked at the video tutorials but cannot find the answer.
Thanks
JC

Put the fx on a send track and activate the send only for that clip.

Or add the FX to track, but with automation change the dry/wet mix value to 100% dry except during the clip.

Hi,
And here's an old Mixcraft 6 mini-tip that talks about several different ways to do it: Mixcraft 6 Mini-Tip: Using Effects on Only Part of a Track.

Re: Clip Effects
To be honest, I usually setup a seperate track for parts of the vocal that you might double track or treat with different effects. This is really handy if you're going to use it in several places. It then works out simpler than automation which you may have to keep hiding/un-hiding.
Just duplicate the track, then split the audio around the part you want, and delete the others. That way, they get to be in the exact same position as the original track (although you might want to delay by a few ms for the whole double-tracking thing!)
YMMV
