Printing front cover on front and inside on the back of the same paper.
Hi I'm printing front and inside cd covers instead of having them print next to each other and then folding the paper I want to print the front cover and then print the inside on the opposite side of the front cover, my printer supports duplex printing so all good and well but every time I print the inside image is always bigger than the front for some reason I have added the images to fit the labels automatically. I've wasted so much ink doing this now and I cannot get it right my printer calibration is fine. I'm using a Cannon Pixma iP7250.

Do you have the latest printer drivers installed?

Yes I have the latest drivers installed, I can print the front and inside on the same side of the paper and then fold it and everything is lined up fine. it's strange.

Well I've just enabled print preview zoomed in and flicked between the front and inside image and you can clearly see that the inside image is bigger so it's nothing to do with my printer I take it.
Maybe it's the paper template? I'm using Plain Paper Front/Back Combo (A4)

Hi,
Did you choose the option to stretch the back image to overlap the front image?

Yes I've tried it with sketch and without sketch. I used a different template and on print preview they look fine both are just a few mm of the top of the paper then I printed and the inside was a lot far down the page than it was on print preview

It depends which template I choose. Which one would be best to use? I can select some go on print preview and click between front and inside and you can see that the inside image is slightly bigger than the front. Another template I chose both front and inside look bang on until I print it then the inside image is not inline with the front image, but if I print them so they're both together on the same side page it's fine.

I've held the card up to the light and took a picture you can see that's it's not lined up. I'm getting so frustrated with this the amount of ink and card I've wasted and it's still not right no matter what I do, I just don't understand it.
Never mind those lines at the side, they are from something else I did I just used the same card again.
