Hi,

Not yet, but we're getting closer.

We're not ready to reveal all the features, but Mixcraft 8 will have native sidechaining, VST3 support, Multi-out Omni Sampler, and much, much more!

What's wrong with the current GUI?

Compare to the others... Looks a bit outdated... A more modern approach - or various themes - would be great.

Sometimes less is more, I think the current GUI is pretty good. But yeah sure I guess some sleeker alternate themes could be cool.

I'm sure it goes without saying that the UI appearance is a subjective thing, but I like it just the way it is... the simple visuals are part of why I chose Mixcraft. "Simple" also often means more compact, and the way its interface is designed, I think Mixcraft uses screen space much more efficiently than some of its competitors.

But I know others disagree... perhaps theming ability would be a good solution.

I'd like to have different skins so that I could use a complicated looking one and impress people who don't make music.

I like the GUI...that's why I chose Mixcraft. However, if different GUI templates were available, that would appease MORE users.

Keep it simple...and the music keeps on coming.

Plugin delay compensation for submix tracks? Submix within a submix? If these were the only two upgrades I would still buy MC8 immediately.

I feel compelled to suggest once again that FUNCTION, UTILITY, and seamlessly integrated NATIVE features outweigh Visuals, GUI and silly collections of included plug ins by at least 100 to 1.

One has to wonder why DAW's like Bitwig or equivalent butt-freakin ugly examples are as popular as they are among some groups if the GUI/appearance meant squat. Its Features. Function. Period.

Sorry. Mini rant over. 8)
Stay in tune, Mark
