Leap Motion Controller + AeroMIDI !!

Post by chibear »

I know it has been available for a long time but was never tempted until now. Amazon.ca had the LM on for Can$50 just recently and Aero IS US$10. Using it for volume, CC#11 curves, automating vibrato parameters etc. and find myself doing a lot less editing in the piano roll than with inputting with nobs or sliders or lemur.

Hi,

Very nice. We don't get much feedback on AeroMIDI; it's nice to know somebody is getting some good use out of it!

Definitely! I have a hunch your user base will grow as the price of the technology drops and more people will be diving in. Aero's only competition at this point seems to be GEKO and that seemed pretty counter-intuitive compared to Aero, AeroMIDI following the Acoustica mantra of "Software should be easy to use"

I do have one suggestion (so far), but will put it up on the AeroMIDI forum.
