Removing the gaps

Recording Vocal and version i have not mastered how to remove the silent bit
can somebody just very simply explain how i remove the section i do not want
ive tried merge , ive tried moving curser keys to the beginning and
end of the section i want to remove , ive tried pause but there is a lag
leaving silence , its not instant any definative answers to perform a
very simple task of removing what i want to remove!!!

Hi,

Split the recording on either side of the silent section, then delete that section.

This will leave a track split where the silent part was.

Spin It Again is designed to digitize recordings, it's really not an audio editing program. You might want to check out our Mixcraft software, which would allow you to remove the silent part and then merge or crossfade what comes before or after.
