Hi,

Are you sure the notes aren't there? Zoom all the way in and see if they are there, but just very tiny.

Which virtual instrument are you using in Mixcraft?

Hi,

Check out Vibrant Audio's reply in this old thread.

We also had one customer who got the EZDrummer plugin and that solved the problem for him.

Hi,

Click on the MIDI clip to select it, then look at the sound tab.

Hi,

Did that quantize trick have any effect on this problem? I'm thinking that the close hi hat notes might be tiny as well.

Also, try a different drum kit or a different drum virtual instrument.

the close hi at note are there and large. but hey are comming out sounding like open hi hats, no closed.
And also. my friend and i are in a band. he has mixcraft 5 and i have mixcraft 6. i got this so he could send the tracks to me over email and i could record the drum part to the songs. is mixcraft 5.2 and 6compatible with eachother

To share and edit projects you're better off if both people have the same version of Mixcraft.

If your friend owns Mixcraft 5 he can upgrade here for only $20.

In the meantime, you can open Mixcraft 5 projects in Mixcraft 6, but you can't save them as Mixcraft 5 projects. One way around this is for your friend to send you a mixdown of what he has, then you record the drums and send him a mixdown of just the drums - he can add the drum track(s) to his project.

If you're sending the whole project back and forth, remember that you both have to have the same effects (if any are used in the project) on each of your systems.

Also, a good way to collaborate like that is to use the File>Copy Project Files To>Zip File. Upload the zip file to dropbox.com or similar service and share the link via email rather than the entire (probably large) zip file.

Upgrading and installing Mixcraft 6 won't change anything regarding Mixcraft 5. He'll have both Mixcraft 5 and Mixcraft 6 on his computer. All of the Mixcraft 5 projects will stay right where they are.

You could open the Micraft 5 projects in Mixcraft 6, then save them with a NEW name.

The OLD Mixcraft 5 projects would stay the same and would work in Mixcraft 5, the NEW projects would only work in Mixcraft 6.
