I am looking for a program that can pick the bpm and key of music that is playing through the line-in or microphone input of my sound card, rather than using a wav or mp3 file. Can DJ Twist and Burn do this, and if not, does anyone know of a program that can?
It would be hugely useful to DJs that still mix with vinyl rather than mp3, and I would gladly buy any program that could provide such a feature.

DJ Twist & Burn can't record sounds. You'll want to look at our Mixcraft 3 software. It has beatmatching and key matching capabilities and it can record from Line In or Microphone. Mixcraft 3 isn't finished yet, but you can try a beta version of it on Acoustica's beta page.
"Beta" means it's not finished yet and that it's still being tested, so there may be bugs. Also, we haven't written the help file yet.
