Is there a way to get back accidentally deleted effect chains (yes "effect chains" not effects) without reinstall Mixcraft again. Also if I reinstall Mixcraft does it come up and let you select "repair" or will it do a full install and wipe out everything else I have.

Hi,

Uninstalling only removes files that the Mixcraft installer put there. So, you can uninstall and reinstall and it won't affect your projects or anything. Go ahead and do it!
