Can someone kindly let me know what the numbers on the channel strip mean please? I assume its infinity to 0dB then clipping and beyond, but I am lost as to what the other numbers in the middle are about. Thanks :D

In Mixcraft 6, the meter is dBFS. Over 0 is clipping. -18dBFS is about 0 dBvu. Notice that's where it changes from green to yellow.

The faders, on the other hand, show how many dBvu you are cutting or boosting the signal as it passes through the channel.

Note that the master track meter is the last instance before leaving the DAW. The meterĀ“s ballistics has to be understood, so what you think you see may not be what is there in reality.

This has been discussed in depth in a previous thread on the subject of metering.
