multiple copies of same song in library

I've attempted to reload my library after reinstalling. The library searches my computer and shows four identical copies of every song for each artist. What is wrong? Thanks!

I found the problem. Instead of using scan entire computer or the suggested sites. I put in user/ken/music. I then deleted the entire library and re-scanned. Everything is fine now.
