The Mixcraft 11 thread is locked, understandably but just had a few questions. Perhaps you could just include a few FAQs in your original post to avoid getting bombarded?
1. Will you be publishing some kind of Rogue's Gallery of the most requested feature requests for MX11 some time in the future?
2. Also, can you re-submit your requests if you think of something else at a later date? I completed mine but just went with the first things that popped in my head at the time. Although there are many suggestions I have, I probably should have given the top 3 more thought, on reflection.
3. Is there a closing date for feature requests to be submitted?
1. We don't generally post a list of what we're planning to put in the next version for a lot of reasons. Marketing obviously, but also sometimes we start in on a new feature and realize that it's not working out the way we planned.
2. Submitting more than three of your top feature requests would be cheating, but there's nothing stopping someone from doing it. We hoped limiting it to the top three suggestions would help provide focus. There's never a shortage of suggestions, and there's never enough time or staff-hours to implement them all.
3. No closing date so far. We're still collecting. We'll likely announce a closing date when we feel we've got a good sampling of suggestions from lots of different people.

Thanks Greg...
1. I wasn't necessarily asking for what you had agreed to take forward for development, it was more so the most requested features from users...the Top 10 requests, for example. I understand that what we want and what we get are two separate things. The top 10 feature requests could well be things that may not be feasible or possible, even. I was just asking about the most requested, that's all.
2. I was asking if we could replace the original three items requested at a later date...not add another three to them.
Mixcraft has ARA and Melodyne integration but when you open Melodyne the tempo extraction is greyed out.
In Sonar you drag audio to the timeline and Melodyne will extract the tempo. It has done this since 2014 and is possibly the only Daw that has ever had this very useful feature.
Example I take a cover song and use stem separation. I drag the drum stem to the timeline or?? And now I have a tempo map with out going through the very painful experience of moving markers and manually changing tempos.
The work around in Mixcraft is I extract the tempo in Melodyne stand alone. It can save as a midi file. Then this needs to be the first thing you open to start a project.
This is also a wonderful way to work with live drums in your recording.

Maybe there could be poll for top requested features as not everyone has good view of other DAWs and features there could be.
Yes, was thinking about Acoustica giving top choices. Like my experience on other daws is only Pro Tools. So i had to do research what to even suggest as new features. If there would be list of top features it would easier to choose.
Yes, my suggestion is like second round. Poll for top choices. Would be nice to see what people choose from top list. There can be features i never even imagined but really would like to have.

We're trying to figure out what the top choices would be, gathering information from here, social media, and newsletter subscribers.
It would help in workflow to be able to create user presets for frequently used markers. For example, I use green for Verses and purple for Choruses. If we could create a list like we do with FX, it would greatly help to be able to click and apply them for new projects.
Templates don't always help in that regard when working on other people's stuff. I don't always know what I'm going to get ahead of time to be able to set up templates. Anyway, just a thought.
I have a couple of suggestions which I don't believe are currently available -
1. Make the bottom menu resizable, so more of the main workspace is visible but you can still see your samples albeit less of them, but you can scroll left to right to see more.
2. A delete icon on the top menu so you can highlight a sample then delete it, in addition the right click option.
3. When you right click on a sample you have an option to open the containing folder, it would be handy to have the option to go to the folder in the library itself.
I know this is a tiny thing, but make the scroll bar marker (the little piece that shows where you are and you grab and slide up and down) brighter so there's more contrast between that and the overall scroll bar column it is in. I can barely see it (old age maybe?).
