Hello, I am a long time user of Mixcraft of about 13 years, and this is my first post here. I apologize if this has already been asked.

The picture is just a visual reference of an Envelope (the dots and lines) to help explain my idea. So, I would like to see a feature of something like Copy/Pasting or Importing/Exporting those Dots/Lines and their Values onto other pieces of audio. I'm doing it manually and will keep doing so, however for some tracks that are long, it would be very convenient. It would be very similar to the Fade In/Fade Out Feature that's already implemented in the Envelope Tab (Right-Click on audio). Obviously, things would stretch or shrink with different lengths of audio, but if the Placement/Values of the Dots stay the same proportionally, it could still be viable and useful, and would be less work required from the User (because I'm lazy). Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks for reading, Mixcraft rules.

In Mixcraft 10 - automation not within the clip can be dragged, copied and pasted.

Hi,

I have a few suggestions that would benefit at least my user experience.

1. A toggle button for the auto follow function.
Right now this option is buried in preferences. I often do editing (automation for example) while looping through parts of the track and the auto follow can get in the way of that. But I also like the auto follow to be there otherwise. Going to preferences every time to toggle it is really cumbersome. I suggest the button would be placed to the right of the Time / Beats toggle. If there is already a hotkey for that then that's nice, but I would still prefer a button (but please also let me know what the hotkey is).

2. An option to change the midi channel of notes in several clips at once.
Right now I have to go to each individual clip, select all notes and then change the channel. Having an option to just select the desired clips and switch the channel for the notes via the right-click menu would be great. I tried selecting multiple clips and then select all notes in the clip editor but it would only change the channel of the notes in the clip that I've selected first (the highlighted ones).
If there is an option for that then I haven't found it.

Also a question: Is there a repository for Mixcraft 10 scripts somewhere?

Also also: Thanks for adding the quick access to the instruments!

Hi,

MIDI controller scripts? No, but we'll add them to Mixcraft 10 as we get them.

Hi there,

When Microsoft release their Snapdragon X Elite Surface Pros on 20th May (or so we are led to believe) I will finally have a mobile device. I would like to be able to make music on the go with Mixcraft. I release it'll work via emulation, but it would be nice to have a native ARM64 version to run at decent speed. Any chance of working on a recompiled version for ARM64?

Thanks,
Davy.

Just had an idea for adjusting the parameters of effects within tracks. Maybe we could link effects within the Mixer Panel Preferences? I'm thinking this will work for people who have favorite effects that they use on almost every track, and who want to use CC for adjusting parameters without having to set up the MIDI Controller learning for every single track. It could be treated the same way we would set up learning for a track's volume, pan, solo, mute, etc.

It may result in a bit of a mess if we aren't able to edit the names since VST's often have very long/confusing names for settings in the background, but if we could rename them, it could clean things up. In addition, the ability to pick and choose which settings show would also help, since we don't need every single option available in any given effect at all times.

This would save us from having to use the MIDI Controller option — which is a nice addition, but flawed since knobs/sliders/buttons control the same effect across all tracks even when only one track is selected:

(I love the addition of effects in the mixer panel by the way! Specifically the Channels, Parametric EQ, and Gain!!)

You can go into metronome preferences and choose whatever sounds you want. Wav or ogg files would be best.
Here are some good options for you, BagObolts! Just cut out the sounds you like and change it under Mixcraft Preferences > Metronome:

Clock Ticking (I pulled from this one)

Tick Tock loop

Metronome
