Just checking, but do you know about these clip envelop options?Railway Mark wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 9:13 am A welcome addition to the mixer section would be a variable high pass filter. That’s the first thing that I do to a when mixing. I wish I’d requested this before version 10 came out because it would really speed up my mixing process and eliminate the need for the Waves SSL E-Channel as the first plugin on every track.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Thanks for the reply, Greg! I do use the envelope options in mixes all the time. What I'm referring to is a variable high pass (and possibly also a low pass) over the entire track as part of the eq section of the mixer. In general, high passing is the first thing that I do to a track in a mix to remove any unnecessary low frequency content that might muddy things up. It's probably the most basic but effective mixing technique that has taken my mixes to the next level, and I'm now mixing some relatively high profile stuff. Having access to it directly on the mixer would be a big time saver, thus eliminating the need to open up something like SSL E-Channel (screenshot below) to do a simple task.Just checking, but do you know about these clip envelop options?

As for me, I had not yet learned that the mixer was so configurable. Très cool!

I had forgotten about the more adjustable parametric available in the mixer, though I did discover it at one point. It has a high shelf/low shelf or bell option. This is very different from high pass/low pass filters, which cut everything below or above the specified frequency. And you know about the Parametric EQ in Mixcraft's mixer?

Purely from a cosmetic standpoint; it would be nice if;
1. Automation lane in Submix Tracks could be hidden
2. An option to hide Send Tracks - in this example, the Reverb track at the bottom.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I've been a Mixcraft user since MC6 and still would love to see:
1. Ghost Notes
2. Templates for all 8 modes (at least)
Either of these would make it super simple for non musically trained users to easily create music that is not in C Major or A Minor. It would also ensure consistency between channels/tracks.

There are ghosted notes from other clips in the midi details area for MC 10
What do you mean when you say templates for modes? There are scales and such for the piano role

Included Modes are:
Major (Ionian)
Dorian
Mixolydian
Minor (Aeolian)
Missing Modes are:
Phrygian
Lydian
Locrian
Thanks for sharing: "Select multiple clips to see ghost notes. Ctrl+click on a note to switch between clips."
I can just map out the mode or scale I want to use in a muted track and Ctrl+click on the track I want to edit.
Thanks!

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I suggest that in the plugin manager you can optionally add tags or keywords to each plugin. Then I could just search all my reverb plugins or by the keyword vocal or 80s etc. In this way you can form your own logical groups and find all plugins independently of the often meaningless names.
Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
i would love to see a copy/paste or 'duplicate/move' feature for time signature/tempo markers in the marker list... any section of music that features syncopated rhythms requires multiple markers - really need to be able to copy-paste groups of markers to avoid manually setting 30 or 40 of them one by one... thanks!

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Would it be possible to:
1. Be able to view the Master Track waveform 'Audacity-style'.
2. Change the colour of tracks automatically when moved to a Submix folder? (Change the track colour to the existing Submix folder colour and changing all track colours if Submix folder colour is changed).
3. Again, having a chord lane would be awesome too.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Having the ability to select multiple effects and copy them instead of copying them one by one would be great in a future update!
And having the automations follow the clips by default instead of doing it via a shortcut would be a lot better workflow wise

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Why not just create it in one of those and transpose?
Second that one!ppayne wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 12:11 am I suggest that in the plugin manager you can optionally add tags or keywords to each plugin.
