Thanks, as much as I appreciated the MC7 bus information and found it fascinating to explore through tutorials, I don't think it's going to take me where I want to be. But whatever I do will (have to) be DAW centred. At the moment I'm monitoring the mix through stereo speakers instead of phones but the guitar amp signal is split between the interface and a mono speaker, so I'm getting a direct guitar signal to Mixcraft plus a live mono output to listen to. This is working (better) but has made a mess of all the settings I normally use on the analogue mixer but that can't be helped.

Really think the simpler solution is to monitor it all thru you MC main and output bus out your PC speakers. With my interface the output is significantly out of sync with MC thru PC speakers. Good Luck.
