B3 not sustaing
Hi all, using my midi controller keyboard, with a sustain pedal, Virtual instrument B3 wont sustain when using the pedal, but some other instruments do. Maybe I am needing to set something up, but not too sure. Any help would be great. Many thanks.

Re: B3 not sustaing
Some VSTi don't support that function.
I'm not certain about the B3, but suspect that's the case.

Organs don't have sustain pedals.

Thank you, and very well demonstrated. I can probably get it to have some sustain in the editing function of the B3.

I haven't checked this out - I assume that you mean the VB3 Vsti? If so I notice there is a "Hold Pedal - on / off" setting that is programmed to CC64. I assume (but don't know) that this would provide a sustain effect? If you can map that to your pedal it might work.

Hi,
If the virtual instrument doesn't support sustain, it will ignore the hold pedal.
