Which program?

Hello, which Acoustica software do I want to do the following: filter out lead guitar on mp3 recordings leaving only the back up band (I have JamVox which does not work very well), also speed up/slow down tempo without changing pitch. Change pitch when I need to. I do many cover tunes and JamVox just doesn't filter out very well, I think I seen a program from Acoustica and I would like to try it and then buy it if it works better then JV.

Have a look at Riffstation Pro.
You can slow down / speed up / isolate instruments (and then either solo them or mute them).
In addition you can use it to identify chords (this is what I mainly use it for).
My only gripe with it is that it wont display full screen - only in a window which bugs me!

There is a 30 day free trial version

** EDIT - Some more specific information about making a backing track by filtering out the guitar.

Thanks, I have heard of riffstation I may go with it but I would be interested in what acoustica has.

Hi,
Acoustica doesn't have any products dedicated to filtering out a guitar part. Depending on how a song is mixed, I'm not sure any product could do a good job at removing guitar and still leave a good-sounding song. I haven't heard the results from Riffstation Pro, but they do have
a free demo you can try.

I've never heard any inexpensive programs result in anything I would consider anything but a practice aid. The resulting track usually sounds pretty bad.
There are some high end/costly programs that make great strides in this direction, but still..... Skeptical at best.
Time stretch/slow down for practice/training, that's easy. Mixcraft, among many others does that quite well.
