Output Tracks

While the video tutorial on output tracks is great for set up...will the selected track being output still be routed to the main bus? Monitoring is my intention here, mainly to add VOX to headphones/buds during a recording. Signal chain as follows...interface-laptop-main outs interface-headphone amp with aux inputs. Then...output track-aux out on interface-aux in on headphone amp...control mix/aux for "more VOX". Most multi headphone racks including mine have the aux input to feed a separate line source...in this case the output VOX. So basically like a analog board's pre-fade auxes. Sorry. long winded but wanted all facts in before I'm asked after the fact. THX.

I did. My question still stands...but thx anyway. I'll find out later today if it does. The vid doesn't reference if the signal is tapped or re-directed to the "output track". Peace.

It's redirected to wherever you're sending the output bus.
