"stuttering synth bass line"

Post by banzailoco »

In trying to imitate SynthMania, the 1980s stuttering synth bass line video in Mixcraft8, using the BOBPERRYGATE Fx. By luck, was able to kind of reproduce it. By moving the knobs you can change the sound.

In Mixcraft8, add a SubMix track + 2 track, one track with a drum pattern and the other with a synth bass line. In the BOBPERRYGATE Fx, set the Sidechain Source to your drum track. Then move the switch beside the Range knob to the up position(Source Side Chain).

Cubix (a drumsynth with an arpergiator)

Rhythm Master (has a Tempo knob)
Use high hat (lower the other volume slider), 6/8, adjust the threshold knob to make it work in the BOBPERRYGATE Fx.
