Hello all,
Can't seem to find an answer on the mixcraft forum.

Can I load mixcraft 8 pro studio on more than one computer?

The laptop I was using it on has a serious motherboard problem - it died.

I have another laptop but don't know if I can have MXCFT 8 PS installed on that while my dead laptop gets a new motherboard.

So frustrating not being able to do any work.

I would like to have it on both if that's possible.

Simple answer is yes. I have it on my main desktop at home and I installed it on a laptop to play around with while out of town working. I believe you just use your original serial number. Not sure how many computers you can install it on.

Yes and you dont find an answer in the ahmmmm how to say...."last century win95 looking" FAQ ? I was sure I will find it there but I am afraid you wont find ANYTHING there the way it looks....

But: I can confirm, it runs on my win 7 64 bit PC and on my win 10 Notebook without problems. But as Governmentmule I cant say what the general rule is with mixcraft, have to wait for Greg on this, if it is numbers of registered computers or just only one user using it at the same time on whatever number on computers....

Schools can get a site license for more seats.

Ok, now do I download another copy of MXCFT PS8 onto second computer as I can't access the old laptop drive until fixed?

Use the registration email that you were originally sent, it has your account and authorization code info.

Over time, the number of installations (consecutive, not simultaenous) can easily exceed a "couple [or] three". I am about to do a fresh install of Windows and all my software. There doesn't appear to be a way to de-authorize the software. When I reinstall Mixcraft, am I using up another authorization that counts against an upper limit? If so, what is the limit?
