Re: Screenshots of Mixcraft 9
As long as the wood panels are still there. I think pretty much everyone was in agreement that they are awesome.

Re: Screenshots of Mixcraft 9
Little known fact- they are simulated genuine Norwegian wood from a mixer in Abby Roads studio!
True story!
Re: Screenshots of Mixcraft 9
The visual appearance of the mixer isn't as important as the mixer capabilities are to me... I like the wood, but I could live without it too... I also like the colored MX8 mixer, but can live with the MX9 mixer being black and white too.
My top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9 are:
1. The ability to quickly save, recall and store several different mixes of a recording project BEFORE committing to mixing down to MP3, Wave, etc files. For example like "snapshot" that lets you try different mixes, FX, EQ, or any mixer setting or track parameters before you decide which one to mixdown. You can click on any of 8 snapshots for instant A-B comparison. You can save the raw project before mixdown and come back and start again should you have second thoughts.
2. Undockable transport.
3. ALL MX8 bugs fixed.

I agree... But I need to see how they look when a signal is applied and the meters lite up before I'll know if I like them or not... With the peak clip indicators being most important. FWIW: I mostly mix by ear with my eyes closed.Mark Bliss wrote:Those fader and meter scales are odd. Gonna take some getting used to. 8
