Question on Manage Plug-Ins

Where does it save the actual file when you create your list and faves, Ive had an issue happen 3 times now. I spend hours creating folders and copying them to the folders so I can find them fast on my plugins list. Well 3 times now when I have updated (2 times in Mixcraft 8 and now once in 9) they all disapear. I can find them in the general list, but not the versions that I created. Pretty frustrating to have to recreate. If there is no file I can copy and save as a backup I probably should not create it again, its a bit of a pain.
Thanks

Hi,
What are you doing, exactly? Are you creating Collections?

Correct, I create personal collections, I have a lot of plug-ins so it makes it easy, plus I don't like clutter lol

Hi,
I believe they are stored here:
%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\collections
So, you'd back up that folder, and restore it to the same folder.

Collections are saved as .plugin-group files here
%AppData%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\collections

So I would just copy that folder and save it if I need to add it back ?

Hi,
Yup, and then make sure you restore the files to the correct spot.
