Zoom

Has anyone figured out how two folks on a multi-party Zoom video call can perform music concurrently, without the horrible lag that I keep experiencing?

Thanks

Dick

Hello Dick and welcome to the Acoustica forums.

No, and unfortunately I don’t think it can be done with Zoom or any other live internet feed other than possibly some military or medical type connection that a surgical doctor might use.

Hi,
I was listening to an interview with a person who works with internet security, and he said what we see when there are videos of musicians playing together online is not a live feed. One musician would record his or her part then send it to another musician and they would record their parts and so on. Then all the parts would be processed with a video software to make the finished product.
I also wondered how that was done.
