direct and mic recording together

direct and mic recording together
when plugging to the direct line out to record, I want to also mic record the speaker but no sound from speaker. is there a work around so I can record both direct and mic the speaker of the same amp? thank you

I use a DI box - Instrument is plugged in there and I then use a jack cable from 'line through' to the amp input. This enables the normal use of the amp. The DI also has a direct out.

DI box is the way to go, I'd say a must in a guitarists bag, go direct and record the amp. Radial is top notch but you can find less expensive boxes that are fine, you may also want to look into reamping.
