Waveform Height

Can we adjust waveform height now?
I remember posting about this 4yrs ago here.
(Back then as now I was normalising temporarily, now with the gain knob I might stay that way and dial it down to avoid master overload.)

Apologies if this is somewhere, I can't find it.

Can't you just grab the bottom of the track and make it larger?

That works for a really hot signal, definitely. But for quieter stuff, saving cranking my preamps (and it's fine in 24bit, lots of headroom), the data is hardly visible, to do close clip editing?

Hi,

Dragging the bottom of the track way down to increase the track height is going to be your best bet.
