I have a Korg M50 synthesizer and am using it as a controller (into Mixcraft 6) but I can't figure out how to record with it as a synth also (to use the M50's own sounds).
Right now I'm running the Korg into a Tascam interface then into the laptop but I'm new to Midi recording and just getting bogged down in the terminology, etc.
How do I also record the M50's synth sounds?
Thanks!
Using Korg M50 as a Synth and a Controller???

Plug the synth mono output into the interface audio input (and use ASIO).

Re: Using Korg M50 as a Synth and a Controller???
That was easy. A fat audio wave just showed up in the recording lane. Thanks.
Also, the Korg has 16 track recording capabilities and I'm trying to transfer some old songs into Mixcraft. Do you know if there's a way to send multiple tracks at once to the DAW - or do I have to do one track at a time?
Thanks again. Much appreciated.

You’re welcome... I’m not sure, I’ve only transferred one track at a time and that was only once and a very long time ago.
