Hi,

Did you check to see whether you're running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows?

It doesn't say anywhere in the usual locations. However insofar as I can tell XP Home was really only 32 bit.

Oh, it's Home, not Professional, so it probably is 32-bit Windows.

Not sure what else to suggest.

Just a late reply here to note that the problem seems to have gone away... I'm not really sure why.

A Windows issue most likely. But it is fixed. Until it comes back next time...

Since the page for the patch is apparently dead, does anyone have a copy of the patch they are willing to share?

I'll put the patches up on dropbox. There is the patch and (I think) two installers for 64 & 32 bit. I have actually now forgotten how they work...

However I'd be happy if it was made to work again. However I fear that unless Acoustica takes it up it will have the same problem: that the patch uses a workaround via a lookup hosted on a different server...

If I am not mistaken this - SIA-Lookup-Patch.exe - is the installer for the patch program made by Atlanticom, a (appparentely) former member of this forum.

I don't know whether it will actually work as the patch "pointed" to a little program on his own website or server - and indeed it is this latter little program which is not there and working....
