Which drum pad controller and anyone using Atom pad?

Hi all. I;m fixin to bail on Studio One (the new one) for multiple reasons, but dont like losing the integration with my Atom Pad. I really like the Mixcraft performance Panel.
I have 2 questions please.
-Is anyone using The Atom pad with Mixcraft and is there a template available or would I need to manually assign everything? Is it even possible to midi assign all the pads and knobs and buttons?
-I;m not opposed to buying a new drum pad/controller and selling Atom, so which one(s) does the forum recommend that would integrate well with Mixcraft? My other device is a Native a49 keyboard, and I use the Atom Pad for both finger drumming and using the various buttons instead of having to mouse around to execute things in my DAW. I much prefer drumming on a pad rather than keyboard
