VST Window Opening Issue - Dual > Single Screen

Hi,
I've been a long time user of Mixcraft and recently I've added a second monitor to help with my projects. Nothing wrong so far. The only problem is (and this might be a Windows issue) that when I revert back to a single screen and open a project I was working on with 2 screens, some VST windows which I might have opened on the second screen and saved in this status, do now not appear when opening the project on a single screen setup.
I click the VST on the channel and nothing happens. It obviously still thinks I have a second monitor attached so it must be open on the "ghost" second screen. As VST's don't appear on the taskbar there's nothing I can do do get that VST session back (apart from plug the second monitor back in which I sometimes can't do as I'm working away from my main room).
Any ideas on this?
