Why does it change volume

Post by jcameron99 »

When I copy and move a clip to the next set of measures, some of my clips play in a lower volume. I've tried deleting the copy and try again, but it keeps losing volume.

Hi,

Is there volume automation on the master track? Check out this video: Mixcraft University | Using Automation

Or are you using track markers with tempo changes in them?

No. I'm not using a master track and I have not tried tempo changing at markers yet. However, I did see the tempo change window popup when I clicked somewhere by accident. I didn't change anything, I just closed it. I was planning to use tempo change with markers but now I'm anticipating volume problems. Chuckle I checked the automation on the clip but everything is at 0.

Thanks Greg

Hi,

The same thing happened to me related to the tempo. Somehow the master track had tempo automation. It wasn't visible but as I scanned down the tempo automation line, I saw it was progressively dipping or raising ever so slightly. I had to right click and select remove all automation.
