I'd used Audacity before to basically record myself, but I grabbed MixCraft 9 in the recent humble bundle and with a friend close by for how-to questions, tried to make something that actually sounds, you know, produced.
It's probably the coolest sounding thing I've ever made. I know it is surely full of noob errors and I know it is very obvious that I am making up for a lack of performance chops by going heavy on effects but hey. I mostly like the result!
I would love to hear any feedback or advice. And I hope it is enjoyable!
Performed on a stick dulcimer (three strings, usually tuned DAD) and using mixcraft's standard drum kit.
