EZ Drummer 3 Issue with Mixcraft Pro 9

I'm in that group, but this is not only happening with EZD3. It's happening with all VST3 instruments and Mixcraft so is related to Mixcraft not EZD.

Interesting indeed!
I tried an 8 bar groove starting at measure 2.
Hitting play in MX the groove plays at the correct speed from bar 2 BUT in EZD3 it's actually playing out of sync at exactly half speed.
Once the groove in the DAW stops, EZD is only half way through, and continues to play on at half speed (the final 4 bars)

Midi tracked to the track works correctly

EZD2 is a VST not a VST3. This problem is occurring with VST3s. I have about 6 VST3's from 3 vendors and they all do this.

Just to update - There seems to be no solution to this on that specialist EZDrummer 3 group here https://www.facebook.com/groups/shootiesspeakeasy. Folks have also been trying to contact Toontrack, but there are no replies as yet.
EZDrummer 3 does not have a VST2 option.
May I suggest that Mixcraft have a look into this?

It's a Mixcraft VST3 issue, no reason for Toontrack to do anything. Happens with Native Instruments VST3 also.

I've also messaged him but when I had this problem regarding Native Instruments that didn't offer any real response beyond going back to the VST version. It's frustrating when they comment early in a thread then disappear

Hi,

This problem (Follow Host having the wrong tempo with VST3 EZ Drummer) is fixed in Mixcraft 10, but unfortunately I don't have a solution for Mixcraft 9.

You could drag the groove to a track in Mixcraft instead of playing it in EZDrummer.

We hope to release Mixcraft 10 late this year.

I find it much easier to piece together a drum track in Mixcraft anyway. The other way, it feels like building it in the garage and bringing it into the house to see if it fits.

On a separate note, has anyone had success with the Bandmate feature? I have yet to get anything to sync up. And I'm using click track followed audio.

To be clear making in the MC9 timeline takes away many of the advantages of EZD3 (and Native Instruments) so not really a workaround.
