Two Measure ( or more ) MIDI loop
This is probably a newbe kind of questions even thought I've been using Mixcraft for a number of years. I'm trying to program a MIDI drum loop but can't seem to get anything but a single measure loop. I'd like to be able to program a beat loop pattern that lasts two or more measures before repeating. If I open two measures, whatever I set up in the first measure is automatically duplicated in the second which is not what I want. I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

Hi,
You can just add notes at the end of the MIDI clip, and it will grow as you go.
Or, you could drag the end of the clip to the right as far as you want, then press Ctrl+W to make it one long clip (instead of looping).

Thank you Greg. That worked. Embarrassingly simple. Not sure why I didn't figure it out myself. Thank you so much for the quick reply and your expertise.
