Re: doom pop
Interesting
I'm probably too old to make an informed opinion, but from an Old School point of view, the only thing I'd change is the lead vocal volume. It can be a little indistinct at times. But hey, your genre, your rules
Nice job!

Tyanks trevlyns,
I have been trying to get our stuff to sound louder on streaming sites like Spotify. I upload at the recommended loudness units of -14dB, but the pro stuff still seems louder. Maybe need to duck the kick via side chain. IDK, any secrets would be appreciated.

Re: doom pop
I always check my mixed down WAV's on this site - FREE. It's a great indicator of what the various services will do.
https://www.loudnesspenalty.com/
This was my latest effort which shows if it will be turned up or down (in db) by the service. -
Another possibility is to mix all 'music' to its own bus, then you could balance the vocals against this without having to fiddle with individual volumes.

Re: doom pop
I like it - great flowing melody and multi-layerd vocals. It's got that Cocteau kind wall-of-sound thing going on - great work.
I dodn't have a problem with the vocal level, but I did go to that link for checking loudness - very informative!
