Intel Broke 64 bit Melodyne 4?

Installed MC9 (470) on a new Windows 11 i7 Intel 12th gen laptop and now Melodyne 4 will not open. MC9 crashes when it scans Melodyne an won't open either.

Same issue with another DAW but it simply opens without any reference to Melodyne.

32 bit Melodyne seems to work. Melodyne has confirmed this issue with 10th & 11th gen Intel but isn't supporting v4 anymore.

Upgrade to Melodyne 5? No 32 bit version and M4 and M5 can't be installed together.

FWIW, 64 bit Melodyne 2 seemed to work.

Hi,

Why do you need the 32-bit version of Melodyne? Don't you have 64-bit Mixcraft installed?

Melodyne 5 fixes a variety of crashes that existed in Melodyne 4.

Edited to add: if there's something wrong with your other account, we can fix it, just let us know.

Hi Greg, I have older projects and plugins that don't work in 64 bit so I like to have both 32 & 64 bit installed.
My option is going to be having 2 DAWs from now on or stay on Windows 10 until it's dead.

My original account won't let me log in. They were going to look at it some time ago but I had to make a new account in the mean time.
I just tried all my old login passwords but they still don't work. Then there's the "You've passed x number of attempts..."

Hi,

64-bit Mixcraft should be able to load any old projects and plugins that 32-bit Mixcraft can load. Give it a try!

Melodyne 4 has crashing bugs, so if you're crashing, Melodyne 5 is worth a try.

Also, for privacy's sake, I'll email you about your other account.
