Hi Guys,
Today I did a test, although somewhat silly, I wanted to clear up the doubt. I composed a project with 9 instances of Vengeance's 'Avenger' synth which is 'super-heavy' for any DAW, and was the limit that FL Studio could handle.
Then in Mixcraft I composed another project using 33 instances of Avenger and what do you think... I just hit 21% of the CPU! Impressive Mixcraft is monumental! I just did it out of curiosity...

I can confirm that mixcraft is the fastest daw I have used up to now. I typically use 2 instances of kontakt with things like pharlight in it, 2 instances of musiclab guitars, ample bass, ez drummer 3, 2 triton korg instances. My CPU load is max 35 percent on an i5 11th gen. That is defently perfect.
I have no reason to upgrade my processor and that saved my money and doesn't waste my time but sometimes mx does not show the real system cpu load in couple with kontakt. That have to take into account.
Mixcraft is underestimated on the market. If they implement some missing things they could be near the best I think. And for users with a brain, needing a daw that works out of the box, it is the only one for windows on the market.

Good to hear something positve regarding Mixcraft vs DAW X. There seems to be no shortage of posts claiming Mixcraft sucks compared to DAW X Y or Z.

The DAW is always greener on the other side of the fence.
