Edit clip names
The name of the tracks can be edited but... what about the name of the clips?
Sorry for the translation, it may create some confusion.
I also apologize if it took me a while to respond, there is a time difference in the country where I live and it could coincide at night.

Re: Edit clip names
Hi,
Yes, on the sound tab. In fact you could select multiple clips to rename them all at once.

Thank you so much.
Out of curiosity, could you tell me if this appears in the manual? If so, I will have to apply myself more.

Re: Edit clip names
This is a great feature in MC. When using my Korg Triton VST’s (Classic and Extreme) in Combi/Multitimbral mode, it’s very helpful being able to individually name the clips in each lane. Plus now we can individually color those clips too.

Hi,
it's a good feature.
But the sample name in Library and Win Explorer won't change it.
This can be confusing. I think.
Thanks

Re: Edit clip names
Hi,
That's why it's good to name your audio tracks before you record, because the recorded audio file will have the name of the track. For example, if you name the track Lead Vocal before you record on it, the audio files will be called something like "07 Lead Vocal [23].wav" instead of "07 Audio Track [23].wav."

Re: Edit clip names
This is a great feature. I use it all the time to denote takes with different ideas behind them, like different pickups, melodic ideas, harmonies, palm mute, etc.
Re: Edit clip names
Add "edit clip name" function somewhere here.
Or by double-clicking the mouse button on a clip, for example.
It would be much faster and more convenient than going to the sound tab and renaming it there.
