Seems my several other DAWs work fine, but my favorite DAW (first release of MC10) exports midi files that always cause an "unknown error", (great, lol) from my board when loading a midi file from a USB stick into the onboard song sequencer. I have not bothered to covert the file to ASCII yet (so I can compare it to ones that work), but if anyone else has any clues in the meantime I would appreciate it. I will be updating to the latest MC this week, so there is that hope.
I also noticed you can't midi-export "a selection" like you can with audio, right? I may also try exporting the simplest one-track, one-channel, one midi note project. If that doesn't work, It's probably a file format thing. Editing a song sequence on the Yamaha Moxf makes dental work seem fun.
