Copying effects

Post by Yellowcake »

Hi everyone,

is it possible to copy effects from one track to another - along with its settings - in Mixcraft?

So for example, I have a compressor on track 1 that I've fiddled with and adjusted to taste. If I want to copy the same compressor with the same setting to track 2, can I do it? Right clicking on the effect doesn't seem to bring up any copy commands, but as usual I'm probably missing something! Many thanks.

you tried ALT+DRAG the effect?

I think the ALT-DRAG is the copy/duplicate on most things.

Click the FX button, then click the save icon (floppy disk) to save the effectrs chain. You can now import that chain anytime to any channel.

OR

Duplicate the channel, then delete all the clips from the duplicate and move all the clips from the channel you want to have the effects into it.
